If you ever get to Dharamsala...you must visit Mcleod Ganj, as that is where His Holiness the Dalai Lamas' temple/Monestery is located. It is the Namgyal Monestery.
It's really quite magical just being on the temple grounds...seeing all of the Tibetans prostrating and walking around the property. All of the foreigners from all over the world coming to see the temple..and hopefully have an audience with His Holiness.
We were not able to while we were there...but it didn't matter, just being there you could feel his precense. There is a room on the temple grounds, it's the Butter Lamp Room. They keep all of the tiny little lights glowing year round~day in and day out.
When you walk up to the room and put your hand on the window...the warmth radiates and the energy just fills you up. It's a very wonderful blessing to be there.
