Is it normal...

to be so extremely fixated on a country that you Know you are unable to have residency in...
that there is NO WAY you will ever be able to just "Up and Move" there and not have any sort of hassle? (although I have been told for a price Anything is possible)
Is it Normal to think about being somewhere else every single day of your life...?
Don't get me wrong, I am very Grateful for what I have and where I am right now...but OH how I long to be...
in
INDIA!

(you should have had a contest and let US guess where the country was that has you so in love)

kidding ...

I think that it is amazing to have a dream that you are fixated on - whether it's a goal, a project, a location.

So many people DONT live for anything ... so in answer to your question, it's ABnormal ... but very healthy and important!

When that country is India; then, yes, it's perfectly normal. Bharat Mata is the QUEEN!

I'm glad you liked my post about the elephants. I'm glad the temple authorities now have to keep their welfare in mind!

I really hope your dream comes true! Where there's a will, there's a way!

This post made me think of a book called One World by Peter Singer. There is a section where he talks about borders and how our idea of borders are changing because the things that used to define them so much...mainly our inability to cross them with ease or to get to more then one far away place in a lifetime, or even safely is a thing of the past. We are now living in "One World" and living in another part of this one world, like living in another state or town, shouldn't be thought of as abnormal, just slightly more challenging. If you are a global citizen, and consider everyone equal, why not consider living somewhere else completely reasonable.
